The Town of Avon is located on the valley floor at the base of Beaver Creek Resort. Property values and numerous new developments reflect Avon’s status as the "down valley" center of business. The Town also has plans to become a more formidable village center. The Village at Avon will continue to increase the number of commercial and residential opportunities with its location providing the gateway to skiing at Beaver Creek. Come winter, the log cabin rents ice skates for those who enjoy the thrill of outdoor skating on the lake.
